Maureen has always been interested in designing jewelry and recently has had the opportunity to devote time to the creative process. She works in a new medium called Art Clay Silver and combines semi-precious stones. She is living her dream. The first time we saw a Mack Designs we were in an upper scale, trendy shoe boutique and the owner, Cathy was wearing a necklace and earring set designed by Mack Designs. It was eye catching, unique and beautifully different. We had to know more about it.
The designs are created by Maureen McElhinney, an artist and instructor. Cathy informed us when she wears her set she is literally stopped on the street and asked about it. After meeting Maureen and seeing her collections it was apparent why. They are beautiful, different, unique, colorful and in some of her creations she uses vintage buttons making the designs even more unique and rare. When we met Maureen we realized she stands out from the crowd. Her creations are meant to get noticed. They are so elegantly handcrafted and unique we are sure if you wear one you will enjoy it as much as Maureen enjoyed creating it.
